Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp fine sea salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • ½ tsp baking powder

Instructions
 

  • Preheat to 375°F (190°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  • Beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and creamy.
  • Mix in eggs and vanilla until light and fluffy (about 1 minute).
  • Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined.
  • Fold in chocolate chips evenly.
  • Roll 2–3 tablespoons of dough into balls and place on baking sheet.
  • Bake for 8–10 minutes until edges are lightly golden. Centers should look slightly underbaked.
  • Let cookies rest on baking tray for 5 minutes, then transfer to wire rack.
