Ingredients
  

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1 egg
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Use a fork to mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  • Add egg, brown sugar, and vanilla. Stir gently until mixed.
  • In another bowl, mix flour and salt. Slowly add to wet mix and fold carefully.
  • Mix in walnuts if you like a crunchy texture.
  • Grease or line your loaf pan with parchment paper.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake for 35-40 minutes. Check doneness with a toothpick (it should come out clean).
  • Let bread cool for 10 minutes in the pan, then remove and cool fully on a wire rack.
