For the Bread

all-purpose flour (for coating)
Strawberry Glaze Ingredients

cup
powdered sugar
1
tbsp
melted butter
½
tsp
vanilla extract
⅓

chopped fresh strawberries
1-2
tbsp
heavy cream (optional, for consistency)
Instructions
Mix the Dry Ingredients
Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Whisk and set aside.
Prepare the Wet Ingredients
In a large bowl, whisk together sugar, milk, oil, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
Combine Wet & Dry Mixtures
Add half of the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and whisk lightly.
Add the remaining dry ingredients and fold gently with a spatula.
Do not overmix.
Prepare the Strawberries
Dice
2 cups
of strawberries into small pieces.
Add
2 tablespoons
of flour and lightly toss to coat.
Add the coated strawberries to the batter.
Fold gently until evenly distributed.
Bake the Bread
Grease a
9×5-inch
loaf pan.
Pour the thick batter into the pan.
Bake at
350°F (180°C)
for
50–60 minutes
, or until golden brown.
Cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
Make the Strawberry Glaze
Mix powdered sugar, melted butter, vanilla, and finely chopped strawberries.
Add heavy cream if needed to reach the right consistency.
Let the glaze cool.
Glaze the Bread
When the bread is completely cooled, drizzle the glaze over the top.
Allow it to set before slicing.
Notes
You can use
fresh or frozen strawberries
.
Buttermilk makes the bread even softer.
Avoid overmixing for the best texture.
