Ingredients
  

  • 1 can crushed pineapple
  • 1 box white cake
  • 2 sticks unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (optional)

  • Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with some butter.
  • Spread the crushed pineapple evenly in the pan.Drizzle lemon juice over it (optional).
  • Sprinkle the white cake mix evenly on top of the pineapple.
  • Cut cold butter into small pieces.Place butter pieces evenly over the cake mix.
  • Bake uncovered at 350°F (175°C) for 60 minutes.
  • Let the cake cool a little before serving. Enjoy your crunchy, sweet pineapple dump cake!

Notes

For best results, use cold butter to get a nice crunchy and golden top on your pineapple dump cake.
